A motion to renew the easement was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. During public comment, a neighbor asked if the easement also provided ongoing maintenance support; staff and the RSA explanation made clear the program reduces taxable assessment to enable owners to afford preservation work, and the easement requires owners to maintain the structure.
