Former grantee to submit revised budget after reporting changed needs for Houghton’s Pond refreshment stand

Chair Tom Callahan said he would consult with CPC member and attorney Kathleen O’Donnell and Town Accountant Amy Dexter to determine whether the newly identified expenses qualify under CPC rules and whether previously awarded funds can be redirected to cover them. Committee members did not take a formal vote at the meeting; next steps depend on receipt of Cain’s revised budget and staff review of eligibility.
The committee did not establish a timeline for a final decision on reallocation during the session; staff and the applicant were asked to provide the revised budget and supporting documentation for review at a future meeting.
