Mayor Jena Sandlin presided over the meeting. Council members present were Oscar Griffith, Michelle Lane, Busby Courson and Carl Spano. City Clerk Lisa Johnson, Police Chief Ed Yarbrough and Attorney Rob Plumb were listed as staff present.
Council Member Oscar Griffith moved to enter an executive session to discuss personnel; Council Member Busby Courson seconded. The motion was recorded as passing unanimously, 4-0, and the council entered executive session at 6:04 p.m. The council later reconvened regular session at 6:43 p.m.; minutes state that no action was taken following the executive session.
Council Member Carl Spano moved to reenter regular session, with Council Member Busby Courson seconding; that motion was also recorded as passing, 4-0. After reconvening, Council Member Busby Courson moved to adjourn the meeting; Council Member Michelle Lane seconded and the motion passed, 4-0.
