At the start of the Feb. 4 meeting the Statham City Council approved minutes from the Jan. 7 public hearing & work session and the Jan. 28 special called meeting by a 5-0 vote after a motion from Councilmember Terilli and a second from Councilmember Penn.
On the consent and discussion portion of the agenda, Rob Scott provided an update on the 1862 Railroad Street rezone application; the minutes note the update but record no formal council action or vote on the rezone. Later, Lt. Daniels presented quotes the police department obtained for buying additional police vehicles and outlined options for council consideration; again, the minutes record discussion but no purchase motion or vote.
The agenda recorded that no citizens outside the scheduled public hearing wished to speak. Councilmember Penn moved to adjourn at 8:31 p.m.; Councilmember Patterson seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
