The Board of Trustees of the Town of Silver Cliff swore in four trustees at its April 7, 2026, regular meeting at Town Hall.
Mayor H.A. "Buck" Wenzel administered the oath to Trustees Troy Bomgardner, Kris Schmidt, Neal Hochstetler and Shanna McKellip. The board then approved appointments for 2026 that add Trustees Kris Schmidt and Shanna McKellip to the town Planning Commission after a motion by Trustee JoAnn Schlabach, seconded by Trustee Neal Hochstetler; the motion carried.
The board opened the meeting by recording attendance and offered formal appreciation to Trustee Lisa Nolan for her years of service. The swearing-in followed routine business, including approval of the consent agenda and the treasurer's report.
Before adjourning, trustees confirmed committee assignments for the year as presented. The meeting adjourned at 5:51 p.m.
The Planning Commission appointments and the new trustees take effect immediately; no additional conditions or staggered start dates were recorded in the minutes.
