Gray council closes meeting for real estate executive session; follow-up scheduled

Mayor Pro Tem James Collins called a special called meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Gray to order at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the conference room at City Hall.
Councilman Terry Favors moved to close the special called meeting and convene an executive session to discuss real estate; Councilman David Tufts seconded the motion. The council entered executive session and later returned to open session.
Councilman Terrell Fulford, who participated by phone, asked that the matter be discussed again at a meeting he could attend in person rather than while teleconferenced. The council scheduled a follow-up called meeting for Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. to continue discussion.
Attending the July 9 meeting were Mayor Pro Tem James Collins; Council Members Terry Favors, David Tufts and Terrell Fulford (via phone); Main Street Director Ashley Roberson; City Superintendent Cheyenne Morgan; Chief of Police Adam Lowe; and guest Sherri Rollins. The meeting record was signed by the City Clerk. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
