He listed October inspections at Subway; 6 and 44 Package Store; Munson Chocolates; Fish Farm Store (reinspection); Bolton Veterinary; 3J’s; Simonize (main building and buildings 2 and 3); and Kreation Salon.
For September, Call said the Bolton Fire Department donated 12 Senior Knox Boxes and staff held a preconstruction meeting for property at 271 Hop River Road. The report noted a meeting with the Bolton High School principal, an all-town complaint, attendance at CRFMA in Newington, one fire investigation and a lockdown drill at Bolton Center School. Inspections in September included Preuss and Sons (two inspections), Bolton Congregational Church, New England Homes, Farm Day inspections, the Montessori School, CVC Notch Road, CT Trailers, Bolton Motors, Fish Farm Store, Pesce’s Farm Stand, Bolton High School and Bolton Center School related to school opening.
The commission did not record further action on these items during the meeting. No statutes, ordinances, or external funding sources were cited in the transcript. The deputy marshal’s report appears to be routine operational oversight rather than a basis for immediate policy changes.
