Woodmoor board adopts 2026 budget and raises annual dues to $308.50

President Brian Bush presented the completed budget and told the board insurance costs have increased substantially; the association has changed insurance brokers and is reviewing coverages to identify possible savings. Bush also credited staff — including HOA Manager Denise Cagliaro and Woodmoor Public Safety Chief Kevin Nielsen — for keeping expenses down this year.
Secretary and Director of Community Outreach Rick DePaiva moved to accept the 2026 budget and the new dues level; Director of Common Areas Steve Cutler seconded the motion. The board voted to approve the motion unanimously. Minutes record the motion as passed but do not provide a roll-call vote by individual members.
The new dues amount and budget were presented as part of routine budget adoption for the coming year; the board did not attach additional conditions or earmarks in the recorded motion. The association’s treasurer, Pete Giusti, was absent; Bush reported on the treasurer’s behalf that the association expects a small year-end surplus.
The board adjourned at 7:13 p.m.
