The Town of Thunderbolt Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously approved a resubdivision of parcels 3-0004-08-006 and 3-0004-08-004 at 3212 and 3214 Center Street during its Aug. 19, 2020 meeting.
Petitioner Laurie DeVegter, participating by conference call, said she seeks to shift the property line to add yard area to the rear lot and confirmed there is a 20‑foot access easement serving the back property. When Town Attorney Charlie Barrow asked whether the easement and new boundary would be permanent, DeVegter said the change would be permanent.
Clerk and zoning administrator Deatre Denion told commissioners the front lot measures “a little more than 6,800 square feet.” Commissioner John Mattingly moved to accept the resubdivision; Commissioner Len Hiers seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The decision clears the resubdivision for whatever ministerial recording or county filings are required by town procedure. No other conditions or appeals were recorded in the meeting minutes.
