The Lucas County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the county treasurer’s March financial report and a batch of county claims during its April 15, 2026 session at the Lucas County Courthouse. The treasurer’s report recorded $5,868,101.44 in revenue collected for March, disbursements of $1,312,625.55, and an ending balance of $14,249,542.42 as of March 31, 2026.
The board also accepted the Lucas County Clerk of Court’s monthly revenue report showing collections of $3,830.52 and the Lucas County Recorder’s monthly and quarterly reports showing collections of $9,311.08 (monthly) and $20,969.78 (quarterly). The Lucas County Sheriff’s bi-monthly expenditure report for April 2–15, 2026, totaling $17,792.32, was placed on record and approved.
By motion of Larry Davis, seconded by Dennis Smith, supervisors approved $206,737.80 in claims covering April 2–15, 2026. The claims list reviewed by the board includes vendor payments across county departments; one listed payment to CANTERA AGGREGATES, LLC for $47,925.45 also appears among the claims (see related article on the surfacing contract for context). All motions recorded in the meeting were reported as "All voted aye."
The actions formalize the county’s monthly financial reporting and clear expenditures for the two-week claims period. The board adjourned after approving the claims.
