Council approved payment of an $8,085 invoice from PMG Consulting Inc. at the Sept. 15 meeting as part of ongoing work on the village’s water‑plant project.
Randy Diller, speaking for village staff, said the plant design cannot be finalized until the well‑siting plan is complete; the village needs that plan to provide final engineering to the Ohio EPA. Council voted to pay the PMG Consulting invoice on a motion by Scott Pearson, seconded by Greg Schmitz; the vote was recorded as yes.
Staff also reported that electricity to the water tower is in place and SCADA equipment was expected to be installed within days. A fourth test well was scheduled to be drilled later in the week; Diller cautioned that if the test well does not produce, the village may need to reassess plans. No additional contracts or capital expenditures beyond the approved invoice were authorized at this meeting.
