Fulton County commissioners approve routine resolutions, funding transfers and contracts

Fulton County commissioners in Wauseon on March 10 approved a series of routine resolutions including minutes, payment of bills, appropriations adjustments and county contracts.
Commissioner Joe Short moved to approve the minutes of the March 5 meeting; Commissioner Jeff Rupp seconded and the motion passed 2-0. The board also approved the day's agenda as amended and authorized payment of bills.
The board adopted Resolution 2026-167 to increase appropriations and transfer funds among county accounts. Notable entries in the resolution included a $28,839.85 equipment appropriation tied to a Department of Justice grant for the sheriff's office and a $46,710 transfer to equipment for the Fulton/Lucas waterline project. The resolution approved several additional transfers and increases across multiple accounts.
Commissioners approved a contract (2026-27) with Bridge Payment LLC to provide online credit-card processing for Fulton County Municipal Court via Bridge Payment's integration with Henschen & Associates. The board also agreed to join the Maumee Valley East CHIP Consortium, a regional partnership to pursue Community Housing Impact and Preservation funds from the State of Ohio, with Henry County designated as the lead entity.
Other routine actions included approval of purchase orders and travel requests (Resolution 2026-173) and a letter of support for a Fulton County Health Center funding application for chiller replacement (Resolution 2026-169). Commissioners also read and approved a proclamation declaring March 2026 Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (Resolution 2026-168).
All of the above measures were approved on recorded motions and passed by 2-0 votes on the record. No further public discussion of these items was reported.
The meeting recessed briefly and later resumed for a continued ditch hearing before adjourning.
