Shawn Thobe (council member) observed that a 1/2-inch differential "is not a lot," a comment that framed debate over the proposed trip threshold. Public works (Randy Diller) said 1/2 inch meets ADA standards and raised operational timing concerns about when village crews and summer help would be available.
