The Governing Board of the Coconino County Accommodation School District held a public hearing on May 8, 2025, and heard that the district will not transfer funds into its capital fund for FY25 and instead intends to use excess funds to purchase Chromebooks for students.
During the hearing, President Cheryl Mango-Paget asked whether any money would be moved into the capital fund. Ms. Tutay stated that they would not this year, and that excess money would be spent down by buying chrome books for the students at all sites.
Board members and staff recorded no public participation during the hearing. The board adjourned at 9:29 a.m. and scheduled the next public hearing for June 12, 2025, at 9:15 a.m.
