The Governing Board of the Coconino County Accommodation School District on May 8, 2025 approved the hiring of John Roush as a special education/Plato teacher at Tse’Yaato’ High School.
Principal Traci Parker told the board she had forwarded Roush’s credentials and said she was "very happy to find a special education teacher." Chief Education Officer Dave Dirksen said Parker had forwarded Roush’s education information and that the candidate was ready for hire; Roush is currently employed by Page Unified School District.
The action was taken as part of the consent and action items during the board’s regular meeting in Flagstaff. The board president, Superintendent Cheryl Mango-Paget, moved to approve the hire and recorded the approval in the meeting minutes.
