Glenwillow reports multiple property sales and Stratford Commons financing secured

At the Nov. 5 meeting of the Village of Glenwillow Council, Economic Development Director Jeremy Rowan reported several commercial-property transactions and progress on the former Stratford Commons redevelopment.
Rowan said 7555 Bond Street is being sold to a Solon-based company that intends to relocate a light-industrial division there, and that the InterDesign building at 30320 Emerald Valley is under contract with InterDesign remaining a tenant in part of the warehouse space while a purchasing firm consolidates operations in the remainder. The new ownership group plans to assume the Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) designation and the purchaser will apply for conditional-use approval to operate warehouse/distribution activities.
Rowan also reported that the new owners of the former Stratford Commons facility have secured project financing and a general contractor is mobilizing to begin renovations. "This is exciting news, and we look forward to having this facility updated and operational again," Rowan said.
Council did not record public comment on these items at the Nov. 5 meeting. The Economic Development Department will proceed with any zoning or conditional-use filings required by the Planning Commission and will report back to Council on formal applications and timelines.
