Glenwillow honors longtime council member Jeff Adie at final meeting

At its Dec. 3 meeting the Glenwillow Village Council honored Council member Jeff Adie for 20 years of service. Mayor Mark A. Cegelka presented Adie with a plaque; Adie introduced his wife, son and brother and thanked the mayor, fellow council members and village staff for the opportunity to serve.
Council remarks noted Adie’s long tenure on both Council and the Planning Commission and refreshments were served after the meeting in his honor. The Council also announced upcoming meetings: a Finance Committee meeting on Dec. 17 at 5:30 p.m. and the January swearing-in scheduled for Jan. 2 at 5 p.m.
Mayor Cegelka adjourned the meeting at 7:47 p.m.
