At its March 19 meeting, the Indian Creek Local School District Board accepted the recommended 2026–27 district calendar and approved revisions to board policies, including policy JEB (Entrance Age for mandatory kindergarten). The board also recorded approval to proceed with payment of recommended invoices and accepted a recommendation to enter an Internet Service Agreement with OME-RESA effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031.
The motion to approve items A through J under New Business (which included the calendar, policy revisions and the Internet Service Agreement) passed by a roll-call vote of 4–0 (Dr. Ted Starkey, Stephen Cowser, Ms. Schoolcraft and Mr. Bove). The minutes note attachments to the agenda for the calendar and policy revisions; the meeting record does not reproduce those attachments in full.
Treasurer/CFO Adam Lewis also provided a report to the board on refinancing middle-school bonds during the meeting. Details of the refinancing were summarized for the board in the Treasurer’s report and will be processed according to board policy and finance department procedures.
