Nicholas Johnson, who reviewed the district’s monthly internal financial reports at the POLYTECH School District Board meeting on Nov. 12, said the district has collected just over $26.3 million in revenue through Oct. 31, 2025.
Johnson told the board total expenditures and encumbrances are approximately $11.8 million, compared with $10.3 million at the same point last year. He attributed the difference primarily to state and local salary increases, October being a three-pay month, and purchases of student devices initiated since the COVID pandemic.
Johnson also reported the district has not yet received its consolidated grant funding from the Department of Education; DOE requested final changes to the grant application and the funding remains pending while those changes are completed.
Board members moved and approved the financial reports ending Oct. 31, 2025, by unanimous vote.
The board’s internal monthly reports also include information on club and athletic accounts held outside the state system, Johnson noted; those accounts are reviewed monthly through internal reporting.
