The Statham City Council on April 15 approved an amendment to the fiscal year 2025 budget, adopted a light pollution ordinance and a wine store ordinance, and voted to table consideration of Edee’s Rental Agreement until the May 6 meeting.
City Accountant Rachel Bembry spoke about the FY25 Mid-Year Budget Amendment before the council voted to adopt O-25-06. The transcript notes that Bembry presented the amendment but does not specify dollar amounts or line-item changes.
The council unanimously approved O-25-02, a light pollution ordinance, and O-25-05, a wine store ordinance; both votes were recorded 5-0. Councilmembers recorded in the roll-call votes were Terilli, Bogenrieder, Patterson, Penn (present by phone at the time of the votes), and Burnette.
On Edee’s Rental Agreement, Councilmember Patterson moved to table approval to the May 6, 2025 meeting; Councilmember Terilli seconded and the motion to table passed 5-0.

The council exited executive session at 6:58 p.m.; that exit vote was recorded 4-0. The minutes state that no votes were taken after the executive session.
