Councilmembers Terilli, Bogenrieder, Patterson and Burnette voted yes; the motion passed 4-0. Councilmembers Jody Campbell and Penn were listed as absent.
The certification recorded at the special called meeting complies with the procedural requirement referenced on the agenda as being pursuant to House Bill 92 and is intended to inform the county tax assessor of the city’s estimated rollback rate for the coming tax year. No additional discussion or public comment was recorded.
After the certification vote, Councilmember Burnette moved to adjourn. Councilmember Bogenrieder seconded; the council voted 4-0 to adjourn and recessed at approximately 5:03 p.m.
The meeting was held at the Statham Community Center and listed Mayor Krause, Councilmembers Terilli, Bogenrieder, Patterson and Burnette, City Clerk Nicole Sapp, City Accountant Rachel Bembry and City Administrator Cheryl Venable as present. City Attorney Jody Campbell and Councilmember Penn were absent.
