The Bolton Fire Commission approved the minutes of its Nov. 23, 2020 meeting and adopted its 2021 meeting schedule during a regular meeting held via Zoom on Dec. 14, 2020.
Fire Commission member John Morianos convened the meeting at 7:02 p.m. Commissioners Cheryl Udin, Robert Langton and John Roback were recorded as present; commissioners Chris Moquin and Fire Marshal James Rupert were absent. Fire Chief Bruce Dixon and Deputy Fire Marshal Bill Call attended.
A motion to approve the Nov. 23 minutes was recorded as (CU/RL) and noted as unanimous (V.U.). Cheryl Udin is listed as the mover and Robert Langton as the seconder. Later in the meeting the commission approved the 2021 meeting dates by motion recorded as (CU/JR); Cheryl Udin moved and John Roback seconded; the action is recorded as carried.
Deputy Fire Marshal Bill Call reported no fire investigations during November, said Fire Marshal James Ruppert assisted the Bolton Volunteer Fire Department at a carbon-monoxide incident, and described recent inspections and COVID-19 updates to the fire-inspection checklist. Inspections completed since the last meeting included Simonize, multiple re-inspections of businesses that initially failed, Bolton Mobile and Bolton Kennels.
The next regular meeting was set for Jan. 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
