Paoli council votes to move 2026 meeting start time to 3 p.m.

The Paoli Town Council voted on Dec. 5 to move its 2026 regular meeting start time from 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The motion was made by Councilwoman Arla Jean Frazier and seconded by Councilman Theron Owen; the council approved the change 4–1 with Councilwoman Donna Dillard voting no. Council President Bobbie Bostock opened the special session at 11:00 a.m. and said the meeting was called to address recent events; she also stated that no public comments would be allowed at that session.
The change was the first formal action recorded at the special session. After the vote, Bostock turned the meeting over to 1st Vice President Arla Jean Frazier, who distributed copies of an outside investigation report from Barnes & Thornburg and said she would read a summary and make the full report available to the public. Councilwoman Dillard asked whether the distributed copy was the full report; Clerk-Treasurer Beth Jones said the report had been sent to her by Barnes & Thornburg and that Dillard could print a copy from Jones's email.
The motion to adjourn was made by Theron Owen, seconded by Mylea Pluris; the minutes record that the adjournment motion passed and the meeting ended at 11:20 a.m. The council did not take public comment at the special session; copies of the Barnes & Thornburg report are to be made available to the public, according to the minutes.
