The Two Harbors City Council unanimously adopted a combined consent agenda on Aug. 14 that bundled minutes, claims, payroll and numerous project payments and administrative items.
Key financial items approved on the consent agenda included RESOLUTION NO. 8-262-23 approving Pay Application No. 1 to Lakehead Constructors for the chlorine tank and building repairs project in the amount of $559,501.37, and RESOLUTION NO. 8-263-23 approving Pay Application No. 2 to Lakehead Constructors for the wastewater treatment plant project in the amount of $1,217,757.75. The consent motion also approved multiple Bolton & Menk invoices for engineering services across several projects, payments to Braun Intertec for the water treatment plant project, renewal of licenses, authorization to extend conditional offers of employment, and other routine approvals.
Councilors Glaser and Hefter moved the consent agenda and it was adopted by a unanimous yea vote of all members present. Several of the payments are tied to ongoing capital projects and design work; the meeting record does not show contract awards beyond the listed pay applications.
What happens next: Project contractors are authorized to be paid per the approved pay applications; staff will continue contract administration and bring any future change orders or contract awards to council as required.
