St. James council approves interfund loan for fire breathing apparatus, grants permits and signs off on claims

Councilperson Kathleen Hanson seconded the motion; roll call votes were AYES: Rushing, Hanson, Hildebrandt, Craig; NAYS: none. Mayor Jonathan Wilson declared the resolution passed 4-0.
The council also approved Resolution 11-24-02 granting signage approval at 131 9th Avenue North and Resolution 11-24-03 granting signage approval at 34697 County Road 55; both were adopted on unanimous roll calls. On the consent agenda the council approved payment of claims totaling $546,924.11 (Checks No. 702868–702873, 702881–702983 and ACH 1740–1760) by voice vote. The council approved a gambling permit for STJ 1989 Wrestling Champions to hold a raffle March 7, 2025, at the St. James Eagles Club after the record noted that all documentation had been received.
