Shorewood Park Commission approves moving regular meetings to fourth Tuesday

After discussion about member schedules and public engagement, Commissioner Garske moved to recommend that the Park Commission change its regular meeting date from the second Tuesday to the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning in March; Commissioner Bahneman seconded. The motion carried 4-0.
Parks and Recreation Manager Czech confirmed that staff will accommodate the schedule change in future agendas and notifications. Commissioner Garske asked about the status of the 2025 Work Plan; Manager Czech said staff is drafting it and expects to present a draft at the next meeting.
Commissioner Bahneman moved to adjourn at 8:15 p.m.; Commissioner Garske seconded and the motion carried 4-0. No public comments were recorded during the meeting.
The Commission is scheduled to meet under the new timetable beginning in March 2025; staff will publish calendar updates and public notices.
