Deputy Clerk Laura Levesque told the council that when the city initially approved the Pointer's Ridge rezoning, the written minutes reflected only the zoning vote but council members understood the approval to include the subdivision. She said the City Engineer reviewed the original subdivision plans and drainage calculations and confirmed the drainage plan was acceptable.
On that basis, Council Member Oscar Griffith moved to approve the preliminary subdivision plat for Pointer's Ridge, accept the proposed road names, and authorize subdivision of the first ten lots. Council Member Busby Courson seconded and the motion carried unanimously, 3-0.
The council approved the preliminary plat and road names as presented. The record does not include conditions of final plat approval, surety requirements, or approximate timetable for lot recording.
