Bayside board moves village insurance to League of Wisconsin Municipalities effective Jan. 1, 2026

The board first adjourned to a roughly 20-minute closed session under Section 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchasing of public properties and other bargaining matters, including insurance, an IT services agreement and fiscal agent memoranda of understanding. After reconvening in open session, Trustee Zitzer moved and Trustee Barth seconded a motion to change the village insurance to the League of Wisconsin Municipalities effective Jan. 1, 2026. The motion carried unanimously.
The board did not place additional details about premium changes, coverage terms or implementation steps on the public record at the meeting. Staff will complete the provider transition per village procurement and contracting procedures.
