Silver Creek supervisors approve agenda, minutes and claims; clerk reports fund balances

The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the meeting agenda and past minutes and accepted a list of claims during their Aug. 20, 2024 meeting. Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve the agenda; Supervisor Brandon Geyen seconded, and the motion carried 4-0. Supervisor Brandon Geyen moved to approve the Aug. 6 minutes; Supervisor Sandy Forsman seconded and the board carried the motion 4-0. Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve the list of claims; Supervisor Brandon Geyen seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen presented the audited claims and the township’s fund balances. The audited check amounts reported were: check 18932 for $555.15; 18935 for $43,683.60; 18939 for $29.95; and 18947 for $3,182.00. Paumen reported fund balances of General Fund $147,469.20; Contingency $9,646.46; Road & Bridge $519,954.07; Fire Fund $58,281.86; ARPA Fund $13,772.51; and Checking $24,687.10.
The board took no separate vote on the balances beyond accepting the clerk-treasurer’s report. The next scheduled agenda items were to include continued discussion of ARPA spending and budget meeting dates.
