The Village of Bayside held several ceremonial items at the start of its Dec. 18 meeting. Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Nicole Maurer administered the ceremonial swearing-in of Police Officer Frankie Russell.
President Eido Walny presented a proclamation recognizing Public Works Director Shane Albers for 10 years of service. Albers also provided a brief overview of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Recycling Excellence Award that the village accepted.
Later in the meeting President Walny "expressed appreciation to staff for their efforts throughout 2025." These items were presented as recognitions and did not require board action beyond the ceremonial swearing-in.
The meeting proceeded to its consent and business agenda after the ceremonial and presentation items.
