Consent agenda: The board approved the May 19, 2026 minutes; appointed Justin Otto and Ted Hoffman to the Land Conservation Committee (two-year terms ending April 2028); appointed Dave Christel and Robert Salm to the Board of Adjustment (three-year terms ending July 2029); appointed Craig Jansen to the Joint Dispatch Board (term expiring December 2026); and adopted Ordinance 2026/2028-16 (amending Manitowoc County Code S. 2.04(7)) and Resolutions 2026/2028-17, -18 and -19 (employee policy manual amendments). Supervisor Behnke moved the consent agenda and Supervisor Sitkiewitz seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Highway Committee: The board authorized application for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program and committed local match funding by adopting Resolution 2026/2028-21. Supervisor Behnke moved the resolution and Supervisor Zimmer seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Personnel action: The board adopted Resolution 2026/2028-22 authorizing the addition of 1.0 full-time equivalent Human Services employee (ESS Quality Control Specialist). Supervisor Maresh moved and Supervisor Pope seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Other business: Committee reports were provided by multiple supervisors; no additional public comments were offered beyond the scheduled public comment by Manitowoc County Dairy Princess Laney Neuser announcing community events. The meeting adjourned at 6:57 p.m.
