Franklin County Commission reappoints Joseph Baldwin to ACCA committee; Chairman Moore named to Bear Creek Development Authority

At its May 18 meeting the Franklin County Commission reappointed Commissioner Joseph Baldwin to serve on the 2026-2027 Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA) Legislative Committee. The reappointment was made on a motion by Commissioner Tracie Clark, seconded by Commissioner Greg Hovater; Commissioner Joseph Baldwin abstained from the vote. A completed ACCA nomination form and return instructions (deadline Aug. 1, 2026) were entered into the record.
The commission also reappointed Chairman Barry Moore to the Bear Creek Development Authority Board for a six-year term on a motion by Commissioner Tracie Clark and a second by Commissioner Greg Hovater. Both appointments were approved by the commission and recorded in the minutes.
