Gila Bend council tables $200,000 library IGA amendment

Councilmember Will Sipes moved to table the item; Councilmember Fernando Fernandez seconded and the motion passed unanimously (6 ayes, 1 absent). Town Manager Katherine Valenzuela told the council the library district contacted the town on Jan. 9 requesting the change, which is why the item was added to the agenda on short notice.
The item remains on the town’s record as tabled; council did not vote to approve the amendment at the Jan. 13 meeting.
