Commission approves reduced-height fence and construction specifications at 46 East Columbus Street

Applicant Andrew Burton was present and said the fence is intended to keep dogs in. Commissioners agreed a full 6-foot height was unnecessary; after discussion the Commission approved a fence between 36 and 42 inches tall with a flat picket top (no finials), 1" x 4" pickets, 4" x 4" posts and matching picket spacing so the new work will visually align with the existing fence.
A motion by David Craycraft, seconded by Pete Lynch, passed unanimously (7–0) to approve Certificate of Appropriateness #CA-26-015 with the listed construction conditions.
