Councilmember Van Hunter moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilmember Kevin Bowes seconded. The motion carried in the affirmative by all present.
The consent list named both on-premises and off-premises licenses. Examples included a new on-premises license for Omelette Café (10070 Ford Avenue), an on-premises license for Jukebox Bar (3741 Highway 17, Suite 400), off-premises approvals for Walgreens #10506 (2270 Highway 17) and Love’s Travel Stop #338 (8436 Ford Avenue), and a license for Richmond Hill Golf Club, LLC (53 Sterling Links Way). The agenda also recorded applications for neighborhood markets, restaurants and travel centers; the full consent listing provided individual applicant names and business addresses.
City approvals on a consent agenda are routine actions that bundle items for a single vote. Because the council approved the package unanimously, each license listed will proceed to whatever administrative processing the city requires for issuance under local ordinance and state law.
