At its March 4, 2026 meeting the Coconino County Regional Accommodation School District board took a set of administrative actions: it approved a revised mission statement for CCASD Online Instruction, accepted the resignation of a Ponderosa High School counselor, and approved payroll and accounts payable vouchers.
AOI Coordinator Emily Morton presented a revised mission statement she said aligns the online instructional program with Arizona Department of Education alternative-school status requirements; the board approved the statement for posting to the district website prior to submission to ADE.
Chief Education Officer Dave Dirksen reported the resignation of Donna Lyons, Ponderosa High School counselor, effective May 22, 2026. President and Superintendent Cheryl Mango-Paget approved the recommendation to accept the resignation and noted CCESA might provide support during the transition while recruitment is initiated.
On financial business, President Mango-Paget approved payroll Voucher #16 for $69,389.10 and Accounts Payable Vouchers #2639 ($810.91), #2640 ($14,313.50), #2641 ($10,033.39), #2642 ($4,343.74), #2643 ($8,057.34) and #2644 ($47,917.15) as presented. The minutes do not include roll-call vote tallies for these approvals.
The meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m.; the board previewed future agenda items including proposed stipends and possible calendar approvals for the five districts making up CCRASD.
