Boswell reports progress on water and wastewater systems; resident asks council to mark county stormwater drain

Water & Street Superintendent Jim Turner said the newly drilled well is at about 30% capacity and that crews will perform filter maintenance. Turner also reported crews repaired a drainage issue on North Smith alongside the railroad.
Wastewater Superintendent Travis Barrett said a commutator has been rebuilt and returned to service. Barrett added that the final pump will be replaced Thursday and that a bearing in the motor will be replaced as part of that work.
In old business, Greg Vogel of Vogel Realty asked the council to help mark a stormwater drain the county installed that runs through his property, saying county officials keep directing him to the town for resolution.
