The Boswell Town Council approved its Aug. 13 meeting minutes and moved to open a public hearing on the proposed 2025 budget during its Sept. 10 meeting at the Community Center.
Clerk-Treasurer Tracy Wortley opened the budget hearing and reported there were no public questions or concerns at the time. Councilman Kyle Brost made the motion to approve the Aug. 13 minutes; Councilman Jake Foster seconded. The clerk later recorded that accounts payable vouchers (APVs) were approved during the session.
Blake Shoen of Hoosier Associates presented the town’s annual insurance renewal for the coming year. The presentation was informational; no formal insurance vote or detailed premium figures were recorded in the minutes.
The hearing on the 2025 budget was opened for public record and, per the clerk, closed with no public comment at that time. The council set a next regular meeting date for Oct. 8, 2024.
