The Harrison Planning Board voted unanimously April 15 to approve a change of use for 7 Plains Road (Map 50 Lot 14), converting the building’s designation from storage to a church.
Chairman James Dayton read a letter from property owner Justin Jones of J. Jones Real Estate Holdings, LLC authorizing applicant Jon Randall to receive any necessary approvals related to the property’s change of use and noting that the authorization "does not constitute a lease, sale or final agreement." Vice-Chair Larry Farmer moved that the application be deemed complete; Scott Ramsdell seconded the motion and the board voted in favor. Following that, Ramsdell moved to approve the change of use, Farmer seconded, and the vote was unanimous.
The action recorded in the meeting minutes shows the board first accepted the application as complete before voting on the merits of the change of use. The minutes do not record any additional conditions placed on the approval, nor do they record public testimony beyond listing Jon Randall and Albert Cummings as present.
The meeting minutes identify the board members present as Chairman James Dayton, Vice-Chair Larry Farmer, Scott Ramsdell, Wendy Gallant and Cameron Fernald; staff listed were CEO Jim Fahey and Clerk Kristen MacDonald. The meeting record also notes the board held a site walk before the meeting and reported no issues.
The minutes state the meeting was adjourned at 6:06 p.m.
