Vero Beach planning staff reports meeting cancellations and upcoming rezoning work

At the June 4 Planning & Zoning Board meeting, Planning Director Jason Jeffries reported that the board’s June 18 meeting has been canceled and that the July 2 meeting is likely to be canceled because no applications are ready for review. Jeffries said the next likely meeting date is July 16.
Jeffries also told the board staff is working on a rezoning request for property east of the Freshman Learning Center at the request of the Indian River County School District. He said downtown Code updates are underway to implement the Comprehensive Plan and facilitate the Master Plan.
