Middletown council unanimously promotes two deputies to Grade 5

Clerk-Treasurer Drew Cooper recorded attendance that evening as Jake Smith, Betty Riley, Donita Chambless and Gary Kendall present; Dave Wagner was absent. Town Attorney Joel Harvey was present.
The meeting also included two brief administrative items. The Utilities Superintendent announced a tentative ribbon-cutting date of March 1, 2017 for the town's new Water Treatment Plant. Council member Gary Kendall turned in a Uniform Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement, which the clerk-treasurer recorded in the minutes.
