Robin, a planning staff member, presented the first CSM at 1901 South Prairie Avenue: a one‑lot consolidation that combines four parcels into a single 34.817‑acre lot in an M‑2 General Manufacturing District. Staff explained the consolidation clarifies setbacks and property management and recommended approval provided engineering, fire department and water utility comments are addressed.
Staff then presented a second one‑lot CSM for 400 Wilmot Drive on behalf of Superior Crane, combining two parcels. Robin emphasized the application before the commission was for the lot consolidation only; although a 31,000‑square‑foot building was mentioned in a cover letter, site architecture and building plans will return to the commission for separate review.
Both motions were made, seconded and approved by voice vote without opposition. Planning staff noted standard conditions remain: addressing department comments before building permits or subsequent site plan reviews proceed.
