The Chrisney Town Council on July 14 approved several small infrastructure and community support items.
Drew reported that the town is waiting for J.H. Rudolph & Co., Inc. to begin the Community Crossings project and presented an additional quote of $16,910 to perform extra paving and patching in specified areas; council approved the quote and asked Kim to request an additional appropriation from the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) for MVH funds.
Jeannie Thomas, Grass Township Trustee, requested the town’s help to fill holes in a township-owned parking lot on Main Street; the township agreed to buy rock and asked the town to provide labor, manpower and equipment. The council approved providing the requested assistance.
Kim asked for and received council approval to donate $500 from town funds to the Chrisney Civic Association to help cover expenses for the Fourth of July event. The council also approved a set of May 2025 financial reports and moved the next meeting to Aug. 4, 2025.
The minutes record motions as "carried" but do not include roll-call tallies.
