Douglas Kelly requested the amendment and told the board he had already paid $2,500 toward the payment. The minutes state he has complied with the terms of the consent agreement to date. The town continues to hold the mortgage deed to the property as surety for any violation of the agreement until December 2026.
Charlie Weidman moved to approve and sign the amended December 4, 2024 payment schedule for the consent agreement between Douglas Kelly Jr., The Douglas Wayne Kelly, Sr. Family Trust, and the Town of Hope; Crystal Robinson seconded. The motion passed 4-0.
The amendment changes the payment schedule only; no other changes to the consent agreement were recorded in the minutes.
