District to use Madison National for Minnesota Paid Leave; Activities director honored, student spotlighted

Business Manager Megan Gracia informed the board that Minnesota Paid Leave (MPL) takes effect Jan. 1, 2026, and the district plans to use Madison National as its private plan provider rather than the state plan. The minutes record Gracia presenting the district’s plan for MPL administration; specifics of the private plan design and cost were not provided in the minutes.
In other updates, Activities Director Shea Roehrkasse was congratulated for being named Section 2A Activities Director of the Year. Superintendent Jon Graff and board members recognized the award.
