The Saint Peter Public Schools Board discussed and agreed to add a standard notice to future meeting agendas informing the public that if a meeting is canceled for inclement weather it will be held the next business day at the same time and place unless a quorum is not available.
The board reviewed proposed language: “In the event that this meeting is canceled due to inclement weather, it will be held on the next business day at the same time and place, unless a quorum of the board is not available.” Board members said including the statement on future agendas would be beneficial. Kimberley Deming will add the statement to all future School Board meeting agendas.
This was a procedural decision to update agenda language; no change was made to meeting rules or bylaws during the study session.
