Operations and Maintenance Supervisor Seth Putz told the board that Mend the Middle projects will be worked on over the winter break and that the recent fire marshal inspection "went well," with official results to follow. The board heard building-level updates from principals: Early Childhood reported strong conference turnout and classroom winter themes; South Elementary reported 125 attendees at a recent movie night and plans to continue ELA curriculum review in 2026; Middle School reported two new office staff and a Winter Assembly on Dec. 19; and Oshawa Learning Academy said it has a full teaching staff, a new secretary joining in the new year, and that key fob readers were installed by the technology department.
Superintendent Jon Graff reminded the board to focus on next year’s budget and noted district closures from Dec. 22, 2025 through Jan. 2, 2026. He also informed the board that Saint Peter Police Department and an Emergency Response Team training will take place at the Middle School on Dec. 29, 2025.
