At the Dec. 1 meeting, the Staples-Motley School District board accepted the resignation of Carlie Rowe, Middle School Social Worker, pending the hire of a suitable licensed replacement and granted permission to post the vacancy.
Board member Frisk moved to accept Rowe’s resignation and Board member Trout seconded the motion; minutes record that the motion carried. The board also ratified the district’s 2025–2027 Certified Staff Master Contract after a motion by Chair Freeman and a second from Board member Reeck; that motion also carried.
The resigning employee’s separation is contingent on the district hiring a licensed replacement, per the motion. The minutes do not record individual vote tallies for either action; both are noted as carried. The meeting adjourned at 6:36 p.m.
