The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors approved the sale of county-owned parcel 121 Market Street (parcel ending in 06018) to Ben Hoffman for the minimum bid of $627 following a brief public hearing and on-floor bidding.
Board administration opened the public hearing for or against the sale and noted the hearing was specifically to receive comments about selling the property. No public opposition appeared. When bidding opened, Ben Hoffman announced at the microphone that he would place the minimum bid of $627. The board moved to sell the property to Hoffman; the motion was seconded and approved 5-0.
Staff will complete the closing paperwork and follow the county’s standard procedures for disposal of surplus property.
