The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved its consent agenda, which bundled routine items including minutes, claims and a set of administrative measures.
Items approved included the minutes of the May 12 meeting; claims; a Human Resources memorandum of personnel transactions presented by Melissa Thomas; treasurer Tina Bertrand’s recommendation to refund $6,310 to Goosmann Law Firm PLC; and tax-abatement resolutions for US Evergreen Villages, an entity identified by initials KX, Regency of Iowa Inc., and Sunshine Carns. The board also received notice from County Auditor Michelle Skav of the appointment of Dave Hogland to fill a vacant Anthon city council seat after Connie Westfall became mayor.
Nelson moved approval of the consent agenda, Dietrich seconded, and the motion passed 5-0. No separate votes or requests to remove items from the consent agenda were recorded.
